NAP Spitfires?

I have used them for several years, and killed several deer with them. When you do your job, they will do theirs! Most dramatic kill was the one that yielded my avatar pic. A doe stood broadside at just a few yards and I put it low and tight. She went like 8 yards and stood there looking around, blood pouring out in big gobs. She fell right there. Good blades.

Ive been shooting them and have taken several deer with them.....absolutely no issues.

Just make sure you check to make sure none of the blades are broken off after you put one thru a deer...I have had a blade break off before...it could be in the deer still and you should be carefull dressing and butchering.

I'm not a big fan of them; I shot them for 3 seasons and took 4 or 5 deer with them. The were very accurate just like my field tips but I was having issues with penetration. The last two deer I shot were both about 15 yards away broadside and the arrow barely made it out the other side. Both deer were shot right thru the ribs; I'm pulling 70lbs and I've never had an issue with any other type of broadhead at this range. I think they lose too much of their energy when the blades open. After that I switched to the rage and so far they have been excellent. I don't have plans to switch to anything else. The most important thing is accuracy; if they are shooting good for you then you should give them a try.

blades always bent never opened sometimes when i tried them i'll stick to my nap crossfires

Yep...I lost a giant 8 pointer due to mechanical failure; the blades didn't open, and i only got about 3 inches of penetration on a 18 yard shot...I also had penetration issues, and issues with the blades bending. I gave mine away the day i lost that buck and will never even consider using them again.

I have taken many deer with them, not one failure. Only had a penetration issue once and that was caused by my bow being out of tune and it still made it's way through.

Something that I do to help the blades open easier is pinch down the nipple a little on the insert next to the blade. They leave an awesome trail to follow, not that you need to.:jaw:
