String Silencers

I'm gonna go with string silencers this year. I haven't used them in the last couple years. I used to use your regular cat whiskers and leeches as well. The leeches tended to only last about a 100 shots in the past. I saw the Bow Jax in one of my sales catologs. I like the idea of not splitting the string.

Anybody have any experience with the Bow Jax.

What kind of silencers would you suggest. Looking to see if there is any new ones out there. Thanks

I have never tried the bowjax so I cant say for sure how they work but I would think based on the design that they wouldn't hold up too well kind of like the leeches. I really think that the old tried and true cat whiskers are the best bang for your buck as far as string silencers.

You dont have to split your string to use whiskers...I just serve mine on the string with some dental floss.

bow string silenencers

the bow jaxs are heavy after 50 or so shots the x's start to break into chunks.I have them on string Of the Pearson Im selling you can see what happens.I personally think the cat whiskers work an hold up much better, with less weight on string if trimmed to nice puff ball effect.

Thats what I thought everytime I looked at them...they are bigger and heavier then leeches so they almost had to break down like they were known to do.
