sluggunner
Are you glad that Bret Favre will be playing for you, You don't care either way, or are you mad because he is past his prime? What is the general mood in the minneapolis area with this news?
Slash
from what i can tell people are pretty happy, I just hope he can bring his A game, and if he doesn't he'll have to deal with a lot of angry fans, not even mentioning the angry packer fans that already wanna use his picture for zeroing their rifles. LOL
Casey
I wish Brett good luck, but I don't agree with him being a starter. The other two QBs been working there butts off in training camp and now they lose their job to another guy who hasn't been around.
Ashley
I'm definitely NOT a Vikings fan. Being a Packer fan, I lost respect for Favre a long time ago when he signed on with NY. He should have just done everyone a favor and stayed retired. Now this is just going to make him look even worse. I think he's making himself look like more of a joke than a legend. Oh well, I'm not worried about it. Good thing Rodgers didn't learn to throw interceptions like someone I know who's gonna be wearing the purple and yellow jersey... MUDRUNNER
Being a Vikes fan, I'm glad he decided to play. I don't have much faith in Tavarez being the starter. I would love it if the Vikes win the super bowl with Favre this year.:hammer1:

Well put Acorn....I agree with you 100%, except the part where you wish him good luck... I think he is washed up, his "its all about me" attitude flat out sucks, and i hope he gets the crapped knocked out of him on the first play of the regular season...GET OVER YOURSELF BRETT!!! Hang em up!!!!

I dont i hope he throws 20 INT in the 2 games he plays the packers, as far as the other 2 QBs go...it doesnt work that way cuz all the money involved the best player plays even if he didnt go to camp. What i dont get is earlier in the summer b4 training camp instead of saying he wasnt going to be able to play an NFL seasin why didnt he say im going to play im just not going to go to camp??? It wasn't that side of the ball that let them down. They would get the lead and the defense would choke it away.
PotashRLS
Brett is not a popular name right now around Green Bay!!!!! Not about revenge, my butt! He lost a lot of tried and true fans and the legacy tarnish is now a stain:nono:
Ravin R10 man
I knew ol Brett had some more interceptions left in him..you Viking fans just wait til he throws your playoff game away with a well placed throw! Then we'll see what you think of "Ego Boy"...Brett will find out what Packer fans think of him when he steps on Lambeau Field:nono:
hoosierhunter
anyone who boos Brett Favre at Lambeau should give up their season tickets. How quick you all are to forget what he did for you for how many years? Ohhhh but it's his fault that your coach turned his back on him right? Yeah he shouldn't have delayed but he's earned that right......Show some respect to one of the greatests quarterbacks of all time........... The Packers didn't show loyalty to Favre so why are you all complaining...your getting what you deserved and that's a smack right in the face...... Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Ohhhh but it's his fault that your coach turned his back on him right? A coaches job is to take care of his TEAM, not just one egomaniac. He has to do his job to get his team ready for the next season, not sit around and wait for one guy go make up his mind year after year. The Packers didn't show loyalty to Favre so why are you all complaining... Sure they did. How times did he sit around month after month without making a decision?? One year of that is enough, they have to move on and plan for the future. He did it to the Jets, telling them he was retiring, then coming back and saying he wanted to be released from the reserve/retired list, and THEN he did it again with the Vikings, had meetings, acted interested, and then told them never mind, then a month later he signs with them. your getting what you deserved and that's a smack right in the face......And so is Favre.:hammer1: Edited August 21, 2009 by Michiganbowhunter_SQ2

I guess you've been buffaloed by the Wranglers and old ball cap, eh? Can't say I'd let my team undo five months of hard work to revamp the offense because the Drama Queen wants to come out of retirement and be the starter. The team moved on and Brent is just upset because... 1. The team didn't bend over backwards and undo all the offseason work and make him the starter after he retired several months earlier. 2. The Packers fans didn't storm Lambeau calling for TT's and Mike's heads. How quick you forget how amazing the defense was in 1996. Don't think 'ol #4 did that on his own. Great QB, yes. Terrible teammate, yes.
