horntagger
I would say over 15 years ago watched a show with bucks feeding in a sugarbeet field up north. Always wanted to try some but not sure how they would grow. At the QDMA Convention got to talk with the people at Bucklunch for over an hour. Very interesting industry. Any way they gave me some sample to try, they say it's better to plant in the spring. But can still plant in August since these are samples. Planted about a 30 foot circle in the two thinest spot in my main food plots. Put near my one remote tree will put a camera on it later in the season, if I get some growth. Rain 3/4 last night. Pink is treated seed. This spot is where I watch two bucks fight last year. This is untreated seed. Rest of the plot has strips of forage ultra and the rest of the plot is durana clover with reseeding soybeans that came up this year. Anyone ever used them before?????????????? MUDRUNNER
Never have, but always wondered how they would work. I wasn't sure how tempermental or they would be or how good of a draw they would be. No one around here really uses them, but I was thinking about giving them a try next spring. Let us know how it turns out!
