HUNTINGMAN
I can't beleive I done this. I had some ceyeyne peppers hung up to dry and turn red, I got two of them down two crumble up and put in chili. Afterwards I wasn't thinking and rubbed both of my eyes,I can't beleive I was such an idiot. My eyes feel like someone stuck a hot poker in each one of them,I have a cold washcloth on them and can't wait till I get to work so I can get to my visen.:bat::bat:
jokostel
Chalk it up to a learning experience... I would pickup a bottle of eye drops and use them for the next few days... just to flush the pepper oils out.
buckee
OUCH .. you should flush it out ASP, before it does any damage.
wtnhunt
Ouch. Have had peppers squirt me in the eyes while cutting them up, not a good feeling. My wife learned her lesson about cutting peppers without wearing gloves back earlier on this summer.
ildrhntr
They make an anti-burn formula for that stuff. We have it in all our squads in case someone gets cap stunned by accident. Stuff works really well.
redkneck
And just think, the worst burn may be yet to come
woolybear
Try soaking it up with some ground venison, lettuce, cheese and beans. Stay out of direct light by placing a 12" soft taco shell over top your eyeballs and let the pooch massage them with his tongue.:clown:
