dogdoc Posted August 23, 2009 Report Share Posted August 23, 2009 If it is a loose mineral then just dig a small hole and fill the hole up with the mineral. I then pour water on it--i get my water from a pond or creek. The minerals will eventually leach into the soil and the deer will just eat the dirt with the minerals.
