Rem308
Today an old friend of mine happened to swing by Huntington and pay me a visit. He and I grew up beside each other, hunted and fished together from as long as I can remember. He was even one of my groomsmen in my wedding, so we had quite a bit of catching up to do. Within a few minutes of his arrival, we were sitting on the patio and catching up when I realized that my Whispering Wheat Weizenbier had just finished the last step of cold conditioning. Although I want to go a few more weeks, I knew the time was right to celebrate the occasion. So, I grabbed a few glasses and we had the first pour of the beer. Everything turned out excellent with this brew, carbonation is perfect, it has a great aroma and color, and the taste is so smooth. It finishes clean and was easy to go through the first quart. Aaron is now sold and is already throwing ideas around of ‘the possibilities’. He has already put in his request that I have another brew ready for New Year’s, which I will happily oblige. We visited for another hour and half, caught up on old times, and I’m so glad he stopped in. That’s what it’s all about. Look at that head retention! (Don't look at how I need to power wash the garage!)
