johnf
I've really been wanting a kel-tec P-11 for the last few years. A new gun shop opened up in town and had a few in stock so I got a little more serious. One of my friends has one so I figured I would shoot it before I bought one, and I'm so glad I did. That was the worst shooting gun I've ever held in my hand the trigger seemed to never end, I had 20 ftf of 30 shots I took and I couldn't hit the side of a barn with the thing. I shoot about a 2.5-3" group with my g19 and I could only muster a 14" group with this thing. It kicked like a mule. It had more felt recoil than my friends 40 cal beretta. I absolutely hate this gun. I've heard the Pf-9 has a much better trigger which would help with the accuracy, but I think I've pretty much made up my mind for sure on the kel-tec's. Not going to happen.
hungry hunter
John, you forgot that the Kel-Tec is a point blank defensive weapon. I have been shooting the p-40, which is no longer made for 8 years, inside 15 yards you get decent groups, not like longer barrelled pistols. I love mine. Ain't this a great country where we get to pick and choose. Your right about the trigger being stiff, shoot a AMT if your want a hard trigger pull. The only problem that I have is after shooting the state quals with it so that we can carry it as a secondary weapon is your hand is Sore as all get out. johnf
So you have to qualify to carry more than one gun? In Arkansas there is no limit to the amount of cc guns you can have with you. Glad you like yours. They are popular and hard to find around here, but not for me. I'll stick with my Glock 19 and if I want a smaller one I'll "borrow" my wifes 26.

Zero
Yeah they're not meant as a plinking gun, they're a last resort weapon, that 7' or less lethal threat range. Still, go with what feels the best and what fits you.
johnf
Looking at probably getting a Beretta or Taurus 22lr flip up barrel for a pocket gun and using my glock as a primary.
