muggs
We format our league a little oddly. We start two QBs and don't have to start a TE although we have a flex position of WR/TE. Usually, only the top 2 or 3 TEs get drafted (I really wanted Gonzo but the guy picking before me took him). It's a 10 team league...I'm weak at WR because I went RB crazy but I can see Roy Williams having a nice year, same with Nate Washington. QB1: Phillip Rivers QB2: Jay Cutler RB1: Matt Forte RB2: Brandon Jacobs WR: Roy Williams WR: Donald Driver WR/RB: Ronnie Brown WR/TE: Jericho Cotchery DEF: NY Giants K: Neil Rackers BN: Darren McFadden BN: Rashard Mendenhall BN: Willis McGahee BN: Nate Washington BN: Joe Flacco BN: Steve Breaston

c_lou
If you start 2 QB's, you should have gotten at least 1 good one.:hammer1: You do have a couple of nice starting RB's. I think Jacobs has a big year this year. I hope you are right about Williams. I just don't think he has enough to be a #1. You have a chance....to finish close to last. muggs
I've won the league 2 out of the 3 years I've been in it- and this right here is a championship contender. You guys gotta remember, I draft against saavy fantasy players- not against my aunts and uncles- so the good players go fast. Rivers and Cutler will be top 5 fantasy QBs this year, you mark it.:laser:

muggs
Rivers...maybe, Cutler...:nono: I had Brees and Rivers last year and they tore it up for me. Last year both Rivers and Cutler threw for over 4000 yards last year, granted, Cutler won't be throwing as much but I have Forte so I'm earning double points every time he threws to him. You watch Cutler's last preseason game...look pretty darn good. I'm not buying the whole idea he won't be throwing in Chicago and that he has no receivers...that's Matt Berry nonsense. MCH
Team looks pretty decent. I'd watch the waiver wire...as soon as you can figure out which RB is a bust, I'd drop him and pick up the hottest WR at the time.

Zero
Rivers and Cutler are on the same bye...hurts twice as bad in a start 2 QB league. Rivers has kinda flew under the radar...he's certainly solid. Took me to and won me 2 championships last year. Cutler has the potential to be huge. It's just his receivers are horrible. He'll be hitting Forte and his TEs a bunch. You need to find room for Ahmad Bradshaw for when Jacobs goes down his usual 2 games or so. You're hurting for WRs...I can see Breaston cracking your starting lineup and that is not a good thing (unless Boldin goes down).

You're hurting for WRs...I can see Breaston cracking your starting lineup and that is not a good thing (unless Boldin goes down). I think I'm going to drop Breaston for Greg Olsen. I expect Olsen to have a big year and since I also own Cutler I think it will be a good move, especially since I also own Forte. I'm big on Ahmad Bradshaw this season, but he's already been drafted. In this league, pretty much every RB who will get carries is on a roster as is every starting QB. Right now, there are no starting QBs on the free agent list... I realized Cut and Rivers had the same bye when I made the Cutler pick, but QBs were going fast and I wanted to secure two solid ones and the drop off from Cutler compared to the rest of the remaining QBs was huge so I made the move. Really, to win this league you have to really make fast roster moves. When a guy goes down, his backup is on a roster within 10 minutes of the injury occurring. Jennings is already banged up, and I'm not really sold on him being a true #1 anyway- with how good Rodgers is, I like Driver. buckbuster11
No way on earth Greg Olsen gets you more fantasy points then Breaston. I'd hang on to him.:laser:
muggs
Really, John? I can see Olsen catching a lot of TDs this year...we'll see, I'm not making any moves until after week one. Earl Bennett could emerge in Chicago too so I'm watching the waiver wire.
Zero
Only problem with having 3 starters on one team is if they get stomped, you'll lose the week. Maybe pull a 2 for 1 trade to open a roster spot then pickup Olsen, or James Davis if he's there. Lots of hype around Davis, will eventually be starting for Cleveland, and it's expected to be soon. If you don't use wavier priority, you should recommend it. Not fair for the guys who can get to the computer first to get the best pickups. In my leagues, the worst guy from last year gets the first wavier pickup, then so on. When you use your pick, you go to the bottom of the list. Waviers clear 2 days after the games so everyone gets their claims in then anyone who didn't get picked up is a FA and you don't have to use a pick. Good luck. muggs
I think James Davis will get carries, but I'm not buying the that he'll be a worthly fantasy RB. I'm a Brownies fan and I've been to two preseason games already.
