texastrophies
Thought the rut came in around December to January in Texas. Good luck in Wyoming. The Dec-Jan rut is usually just in South Texas. I think the hill country where Tink is usually has their rut in the early - mid Nov. In this area where I am in Southeast Texas it usually happens in mid September. Not sure about the Panhandle or far west Texas areas. You should have took pics Tink The bucks are play fighting here this time of the year, but nothing serious and no one gets hurt...LOL Our rut is anywhere from the 1st of November through to the 3rd week. The major rut usually kicks in the second week of November though if everything is right.

Rhino
From my experience, those Texas bucks are a lot more aggressive than the bucks are in any other state where I've hunted Tink. Good luck to you and all the crew heading to Wyoming.
