Favorite Marinades?

I've got one that was just handed down to me, that i thought i would share with you guys.

• 2/3 cup water
  
• 1/2 cup whiskey(i prefer a sour mash, so i used Jack Daniels)
  
• 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
  
• 1/2 cup diced onion
  
• 1/3 cup worcestershire sauce
  
• 1/3 cup soy sauce
  
• 1/4 cup liquid smoke
  
• 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  

Actually have this marinading right now on some cube streak. I haven't had it before, but it sounds pretty good to me.

WOW, that sounds awesome. Thanks I will use this! I'm more into brines than marinades as I smoke more than I grill. But this sounds delish!

I very rarely use a marinade, I use rubs on all my grilled and smoked meats.. But it does sound like it would be a winner.

Me too. I use allot of dry rubs on my grilled stuff and on my smoked ribs. Butts and shoulders and turkeys I brine.

Tennessee rubs are my favorite. BROWN SUGAR....YUMMMMM!!!!

I mostly use rubs and a healthy dose of seasonings on all of my meats but I do maridate some every now and then. The other night I marinated some sirloin tips in italion dressing just to try something diferent and it was realy good,most of the time I use herb and garlic maridade if I marinade anything.
