hangunnr
'bout the only negative that I've been privy to is that the Taurus revolvers won't last quite as long as the S&W guns. I had one of the first 8 shot revolvers that Taurus put out several years ago that suffered from timing issues after about 2000 rounds. Taurus corrected the problem without any question. hangunnr
Guest SavageTaylor
Re: Taurus 627 tracker? I just ordered a Taurus Tracker .22LR & a Raging Bull Model 444 .44 Mag both have 6 1/2" barrels. I will comment further once I have had the chance to shoot them a bit. I posed a similar question on the NAHC forums and got many positive responses, guess I will find out for myself soon enough. Guest SavageTaylor
Re: Taurus 627 tracker? I made a change from what I previously posted, the .22 Tracker is still on order(they sent me a note that it should arive in about 2 weeks), but I canceled the order for the Raging Bull .44 Mag because I found a local deal on a Ruger Redhawk .44 Mag for about $250 Canadian Peso's less than the cost of the new Raging Bull. The Redhawk has only 100 rounds fired through it, mint, like new condition. Best of all I found the Ruger Redhawk locally so there was no frustration with ordering & waiting on delivery. --Ken
