nyhunter22
just got my g5 strikers 100gr yesterday and first thing i noticeed was a) how sharp they are and b) how small they seem! im not sure if its just me or what but they seem small compared to the 100gr thunderheads. anybody else have any feelings on this or am i goin crazy? Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
They are probably a bit shorter, but there is only a 1/16 difference in cutting diameter. 1-1/8 for the strikers, and 1-3/16 for the thunderheads. The strikers are a great head.

lil hunter
I tried them when first came out....................I won't even shoot one into a squirrell again. can I ask why?
hutchies
They fly good but I shot 2 deer with them. One was a doe at 30 yards. Blades were trashed. Bloodtrail was horrible..............We never found her. Found the arrow after about 50 yards. My buddy was sitting 40 yards to my left. He saw the arrow hit. He swore I smoked her. Shot a 6 point the next day broadside at 26 yards. Still no pass thru......And we never found him. Trailed a horrible bloodtrail for over 150 yards befor it literally just quit. I had 2 other buddies that tried them with the same results. I went back to my Magnus and blew thru deer with no problems. If you can't get a passthru with a 70 lb bow shooting a 385 grain 275 fps then there is a problem.
hutchies
BTW-I've killed deer with Magnus stingers and buzzcuts, Muzzy 4 blades, Aftershock Maniacs, and NAP shockwaves. Never had a problem with passthrus on any of them. BTW-Also shot a squirrel with the striker.............blades were trashed and it hit a treeroot on the other side...........which trashed the tip of the ferrule. hutchies
Too late I gave them all away. I just wish I could afford the silverflame. Til I hit the lottery I'll keep shooting the poor mans silverflame................Magnus
