stevebeilgard
as you know, Tink will be hunting with me next week. well, Tom Shepherd and i set up his "hay bale" blind today, and what a neat blind it is. as you know, whitetails now prefer the open hay fields for cover over the woods in lots of cases. this blind may be just the ticket. it looks good for an antelope blind, too. stevebeilgard
the blind was invented and is made by tom shepard in florida. he flew out to set then up for tink in hopes of selling some. tom said he'd get back on the rt site and make some posts. we went back today and set up another blind. there were antlope at both blinds this morning. the rut will be starting next week, and the herding is going on now. the grasshoppers are about 1/2 of what they were and going down. so, there is hope.... yea, swampy. that's the blind we were working on. and tom did the thread. steve is still waiting to learn how to post. i've got good cameras and a small brain.... lol

Spring Tom
Steve may not have attaching pictures to a web forum yet, but he knows antelope and a few other critters quite well.I enjoyed seeing Wyoming while I was there setting up the blinds for Tink. We saw antelope grazing everywhere. Yesterday it was obvious the antelope bucks were beginning to corral their harem---- Steve probably has a better way of saying that, but we saw bucks sparring and other bucks gathering the girls in groups of 8 to 10-----very cool.Good luck to you antelope hunters. There are nice bucks there and yes we did see a B & C antelope while I was there.Tom Shepherdaka Spring Tom www.ChasingTheOutdoors.com

sluggunner
Very cool!! Wish I could plunk one of those in the field next to my house, then I'd have a great chance at getting a bidg buck this year. But that field is not huntable so all I can do is watch the deer and drool!!!
