Slick Trick
No fights here please. Who likes Red Sox, Yankees, or neither. I gotta hand it too the Sox. They have been fun to watch at the least. Born and raised New Englander, yankees where never in the picture and probably never would've been anyway. Red Sox can make it happen in october. Yankees....not so much

backwoods07
Not a fan of either. Couldn't even pick the lesser of the two evils. Right now, I'm having a hard time even liking my own White Sox.

VABuckSlayer
Yankees!!! I'm shocked you don't think the Yankees can get it done in October and the Red Sux can. How many rings do the Yankees have.... and the Red Sux???? Nuff said!!!
Slick Trick
Yankees!!! I'm shocked you don't think the Yankees can get it done in October and the Red Sux can. How many rings do the Yankees have.... and the Red Sux???? Nuff said!!! Not the case in the past decade. A-rod's average in october is like below 200. He is a real big choke when its October. He's great in regular season. But put him in the post season, he chokes. 2004 ALCS says enough to make up for the 70s, 80s, 90s.
muggs
I used to like this team called the Indians...but I've been watching ESPN a lot lately, and they only talk about the Red Sox and Yankees so apparently these are the only two teams left in the majors?? Not sure what happened, guess this economy has something to do with it. I know my uncle joe lost his job, so it's hard for everyone. Still don't think I could pick one of these money wasting machines though...too bad about the rest of the league. I'm going to miss some of those teams. And with only two teams left in the league it's not going to make for an interesting World Series anymore. Bummer. At least I can still watch ESPN and their fine broadcasters like Skip Bayless. That guy is really smart.

Nuff said! The Red Sux don't look too dominating right now. The pitching staff is pretty shakey. The Yankees are rolling (and beating the Sux up) lately. Pitching looks great.... this should be another World Series title year for the Yankees! BTW... I'm glad 1 ALCS/World Series title means more to you than 26 World Championships! :hammer1: LOL Edited August 26, 2009 by VABuckSlayer
jm23494
The Yankees almost have the AL East wrapped up. Barring some major injuries they should be able to cruise into the post season. The BoSox on the other hand are going to have to patch together their bulpen and get there offense to produce on a consistant basis. It's hard to say that the Sox can make it happen in October when the Yankees have won more World Series titles then the Red Sox have made playoff appearences.
MCH
I bleed Dodger Blue....but have been leaning towards the Rangers lately. Seems my son has gotten a fascination with everything "Texas". So, we might be making a few ballgames in Arlington. If I had to choose between the Sox and the Yanks.....I'd choose the Sox.

250savage
BoSox all the way. Started liking them in jr high when Pedro Martinez played for them. Favorite Pedro memory: throwing the old guy from the yankees on the ground.:hammer1:

I like watching them click on all cylinders, when they are down in the AL and they start making moves toward the top, thats when they are fun to watch. But I am a STL fan and they are tearing it up!!!
