Casey
I went to our mineral lick to put more stuff on it, the deer hasn't visited the place in a week or so. I wanted to put more stuff out. I wanted to shut off the cam so I dont waste pictures on myself. I saw 8888 on the part where it shows how many pics I have. I knew something was wrong. I turned off the cam and it still had the series of 8's on the screen. Now it won't turn on. Also I have entered that I'd like for the flash to come up for night pictures, well every single night pic is totally dark. Maybe there is something there, but I can't see it. I'm done with this product and the company. Time to get a cuddleback. Maybe I just got a bad cam, but I am not going back to them. Just bought two new Captures. wtnhunt
Too bad about the stealth cam Casey. Had one of their 35 mm cams back in 2003 when they were fairly new on the market, that thing did pretty well for me. Their customer service back then was pretty good too. backwoods07
I had the exact same problem with a Wildview. Customer service couldn't tell me why. Frustrating as heck, isn't it!?
Casey
The stubborn thing is working now. I now have three cameras which I am happy with.
ToddCountyKiller
I'd say maybe that the cuircut boad maybe got wet and made it act goofy. Then dried out and worked fine. I've had this problem with cell phones before, so I'm guessin it would happen to cams too???
Zero
I'd bet it's due to moisture. Check with customer service before giving up on it.
