Turkeygirl
I am full.....had some fresh Brook Trout for dinner tonight... Took a hike down to a beaver dam on the farmland we hunt.....wore my waders since the hay field wasn't cut and it was raiding. Ended up having to stand over waist deep in the pond to hit the right hole....the brookies hammered the worms! Brought home my limit...2 largest were 10" and almost 11". Rolled em in flour, fried them in butter and oil and mmm mmm mmm...pig out! Mom also cooked up some italian sausage patties pending the trout dinner, lol. I'll post a picture of the trout...real nice beauties from this spot. They are growing big and fast...might be coming up from the lake as the creek flows down into the lake.
