MichiganHunter
I was wondering if any of you have used the hornady LeverEvolution .44mag 225g for deer hunting, and if so how they have preformed for you. Thanks
Norm Sauceman
Not yet but they sure look awesome to me!!! I wish I knew someone here close who reloaded ammo. I want about 250 rounds of the Hornady LeverEvolution .44mag loaded up for me to use.
RangerClay
I'm waiting to try the 45 colt in LeveRevolution. They make it but flies off the shelves as fast as it comes in.
Heavy Metal
I actually just passed on a box of 240g .44mag LeverEvolution, and grabbed a box of 240g .44mag XTP Hornady's. Mainly because the hollow points actually have a better fps at 50 and 100 yards due to the air-cone that forms in the hollow point.
PotashRLS
I want to load up some 265gr. for my Ruger Super Red Hawk. They have more energy than the 225gr. especially when reloaded yourself. Edited September 14, 2009 by PotashRLS

Indy-Travis
I have seen three deer shot with the 225gr factory ammo, all from rifles. They performed very well on deer shot from 30 to 108 yards
