jesse8953
If you won a muzzleloader, If you could pick any muzzleloader, What would you get? & Why?
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
I didn't even have to think 5 seconds about this. I'd take the camo bone collector T/C Triumph. I love the Triumph my dad has, it shoulders great, shoots great, and the weight of it is perfect. I eventually will have one of these...maybe in a year or two. danthehuntinman
I would get the T/C encore prohunter its a great gun. It has the limbsaver recoil pad built into the stock which takes out 43% of the recoil and it shoots really good too. Then when it was time to buy a new gun you can just buy the barrels for it instead of the gun which makes it cheaper in the long run. RangerClay
First off I would pick a Thompson Center for their warantee. Last year my dad screwed up his 24 year old TC Renegade. Thompson Center honored their warantee and gave him $250 for a new ML. That being said, I would choose a TC that is comfortable and fits you like a glove. For example the TC Encore feels awkward when I shoulder it. The Triumph on the other hand feels like it is a part of me. I plan to own one next year. wtnhunt
Would have to shoulder as many as possible. Pretty likely it would be a TC, don't know which one though.
muzzy1
T/C encore /pro hunter, its a great gun. Can't go wrong with T/C......
popgun
It would have to be the Savage 10 MLII. There is really nothing like it. It works good on black powder and substitutes, but is the only ML that shoots smokeless. Once you shoot smokeless you will never turn back. Read up on them, shoot one, and you will be hooked. Clean it only at the end of the season. ....popgun
GWSmith
It would have to be the Savage 10 MLII. There is really nothing like it. It works good on black powder and substitutes, but is the only ML that shoots smokeless. That is probably the best choice I've seen overall... Personally though my first choice is a TC Hawken Flintlock as my next ML. Second choice would be a ML Pistol Kit to build.
lil hunter
I'd go with an Omega. The one with a laminated thumbhole stock, and weathershield barrel. Never been a fan of the look or feel of the break action guns.
Heavy Metal
T/C Encore more me. Always wanted an Encore for obvious reasons. I've always said (to my wife) it will be the last rifle I buy.....but seriously.....we all know that's a lie! LOL!
fly
I don't know much about them, I'm new to muzzeloading. However, I think I'd have to go with Davy Crocketts "Betsy". His first, or original, gun is in Jefferson County and has been since 1806. His rifle "Betsy", presented by the Whigs of Philadelphia in 1834, is at Nashville, Tennessee. Why... A priceless piece of American history!
MichiganHunter
Another New T.C. Encore Pro Hunter, it is THE BEST GUN i have ever owned.

Jeramie
A breakover. No matter the brand they are just really easy to clean and plenty accurate.
DocMort
TC Encore, and not to ruin this thread, but the Savage is not the only gun you can shoot smokeless out of. It is just the only one that the manufacturer says you can.
tped
TC all the way. I started with the Encore and love it but couldn't resist that Omega thumbhole laminated stainless when it came out and find myself using that now for all my MZ hunting. Advantage of the Encore is the ability to buy barrels and make it something else which can be very attractive also.

FrontierGander
I'd like to get either, Another CVA Accura, This time in Stainless/Camo Thumbhole or a Custom made .58 Hawken based off the original rifle.
Tony Smotherman
Has anyone looked at the New CVA Apex? I must say that is an awesome gun with a really clean trigger that is adjustable with only a flat head screw driver. Mine, out of the box, broke everytime at 2.5 pounds and it can be tweaked a pound or so in either direction of that. Nice option!!
