raw7199
I am new on here and this is my first post. Has anyone heard of this huntohiofarms.com? And if you have, do you know anyone who has done it and is it worth it? Thanks.
Wimpy
It is a new website that just started this past Wednesday. It is a website where a hunter can go and post a profile of himself, then farmers would search the website and contact the hunter that meets their criteria for hunting their farm. This will only involve 4 counties on eastern Ohio this year as a trial run to see how well it does. For more info you can go to the ODNR website. By the way welcome to the forums! Tominator
Haven't heard of it. Might have to check it out so maybe I can get Ohiobucks off my back.
Ohiobucks
Haven't heard of it. Might have to check it out so maybe I can get Ohiobucks off my back. I've already got you signed up Chris, and so far only 8 farmers turned you down. I guess I'll leave out the "constant bird spotting" and the "texting all the time" comments on your next profile, maybe someone would actually like to hunt with you then.....
raw7199
I have registered on the site. Hopefully, I may be contacted to hunt someones farm. I would love to try it and hopefully help someone out with "damage control". Maybe this will catch on and other states will follow Ohio's lead. When my dad was alive, we had all kinds of places to hunt. But after he passed on, I moved to Myrtle Beach for college and lost touch with all the great people that let us hunt. Now, around here, irresponsible people have ruined that for a lot of ethical hunters.

HUNTINGMAN
Welcome to the best forums there is. This sounds like a good idea,is it just for Ohio residents or can anyone register to have a chance.
sluggunner
Welcome to the best site on the net!!! I hope you get a good place to hunt out of that site. Finding a place to hunt in Wisconsin is getting next to impossible unless you own your own land or want to hunt public land. I wish Wisconsin would start a site like that. raw7199
No. Anyone can register from any state. You will put in all of your info and the farmers that are intersted will contact you if you meet their criteria. If I get contacted, we will see how it goes and I will reply back on here.
