Hello All and TO THE HUNT! My name is Steve Renner and I am from Central Illinois. I have been deer hunting for 14 years and have claimed 20 deer in my hunting journy! My biggest is a 124 3/8 inch 10 point that had 8 inches in deduction. I have some big monsters that I have been chasing for a couple years but have not had any shots. I have posted some pictures on other forums of the bucks that I am after. One of them is the owner of the sheds that are in my hand in my profile picture. He was a nice 12 point that both antlers together minus the side to side difference is a nice score. I hope to put an official score on him soon! Good luck to all and lets knock them down!

I wish we could count all deer. I would be a big scorer then! I have nice deer here but my buddy lives in southern illinois and I am going down there for a week with him. They have a monster that has been running for two years now that this year should be around 200 inches. I would love to tag him for sure. I think my buddy would be upset due to his property but happy too that a buddy got it. LOL

Redkneck I agree with you. Your comment made me laugh. I also think Bone Heads would be a fun name! I was a coach of my daughters softball city league. I had more problems with the parents because I would pull out the star players and put in the kids that did not have much talent. It got so bad that a few parents said that they would make their child quit playing if I did not leave them in the game. I told them that it is a stage that is for learning and winning both. How can a kid learn if they sit the bench all the time. THEY WILL NOT! I got so tired of listening to them I took my shirt to the sport store and had them put "It's all about fun!" on the back of my shirt instead of a number and coach on the back. I never had so many comments on my shirt. The league commish asked me to coach the next year but my daughter had to move up. I told them that since my daughter had to go to travel league that I could not do it. They begged me because of what I did. I am a parent and yes I do care if my daughter plays but she is at the stage that you have to earn your spot now. Not at the point where it was a learning stage! Well anyway, nice comment and it just made me think of that! Sorry for rambling!
