Hey Team.... Looks like a pretty good group we have here.

Those that don't know me, my name is Rhine, I'm 20, and from MS. I'm a junior at MS State. Being a college student allows for alot of hunting, at least in my case.

My season here in MS runs from October 1 til January 31 with the rut running somewhere between December 15-Jan 15 (we have a pretty wierd rut). I have about 800 acres of private land that I hunt and also hunt a couple spots of public land here at school. I'm also looking at taking an out of state trip... looking at going to Kentucky and hunting public land. I may or may not do that, but if I do, I'll probably be going in the next couple of weekends to do a little hunting, but mainly scouting for a return trip(s) during the rut.

I've hung 7 stands(3 or 4 left) two weekends ago, so I'm pretty much set there. Going home this weekend to plant all of my plots, I'll try to remember to carry the camera along.

Here's a thread I recently posted of a buck I've been getting pictures of:

Here's a thread of the deer I killed last year if anyone wants to check it out:

Hey guys wats up? Glad to be apart of this great group. Kels and I will be in the tree September 19th. We have some great property to hunt this year. Here is one buck that we have a good chance at getting.

We'll be out every other weekend and during the week during the rut too. Not sure about the name.

Team THWACK!

I'm with ya. Sold all my guns last year. I don't any use for them anymore.

I still have my rifle, but it only gets taken out of the closet on really windy or rainy days... or if we do a drive. I haven't pulled the trigger on it in three years though.

Any traditional guys on the team? I bought my first recurve in February and will be giving the traditional thing a shot this year.

Thats a little far Tom I got my guns and use them some.lol

Rhine I got a recurve and use it some but don't think it will be hitting the woods this year. Maybe late season over in Ohio.

Well if I had a .243 or 7mm-08 I would of kept that for Montana. Usually go out there with my Unlce and Grandpa. If I get another gun it will be something like that. The ones that I had were useless to me. I hunt everything with the bow now.

Well season is officially 1 week and 6 days away. Kels and I have everything ready to go. We bought our tags last Thursday and that makes us set. We have 3 good stand locations to hunt on our 80 acres. One camera at each stand watching the area constantly. All of our shots are within 30 yards. We've been practicing at the local shop with the Techno hunt. The only thing is Kels keeps beating me in points. :D
