I'm quite certain you were dishonest on some level. I'm almost convinced you shot a deer this year, which is great, but it's pretty clear to me, and a lot of other forum members there's some questionable aspects of your pictures, namely last year's deer first of all, and the second pic appears to be a scanned pic with a fuzzy date on it. How you can expect other contest members to believe those pics came from the same camera is beyond more than a few of us? As far as the civility of my PM's and posts, I challenge you to prove where I've been uncivil. Sometimes being a mod isn't all that fun, especially when you have to call on a fellow member to prove themselves, but it just has to be done on occasion. I have an old camera that won't focus close enough for a tag. I had to take the tag to school, scan it, then post the jpg.... If it would help (and you trust a teammate) you could always mail me the tag, & I'll scan it here... Well guys, my season is over. No more deer to report - sorry. The land owner adjacent was driving (as in pick-up truck) through the fields, intentionally spooking deer so nobody could hunt effectively.... I was hoping for an upgrade yesterday because we hunted a farm that has a huge non-typ. We may hunt it again Fri. I hope!! In any case, this being my first year, I had a lot of fun and I think everybody did a GREAT job, we dominated most of the season and it ain't over til it's over. Happy New Year guys! First of all, if you are all serious you've got way too much time on your hands, trying to find away around not losing a contest that is strictly for fun. There are no prizes other than bragging rights. So if you want to brag based on winning on a techicality because my dig camera was having a bad day then go for it. It'll be my last year in this contest. It is a 2nd season head tag. With my name, permit number, year, and hunt area. It doesn't have a confirmation #, but the head tag is only required to be used and have a confirmation number recorded if you are taking the deer to a taxidermist. I didn't. I'm in the process of doing a European mount. The leg tag that has the confirmation # is with the meat waiting to be processed. Sure i can drive to our farm and get it or a picture of it, but thats sounds more like a hassle not FUN like this contest is supposed to be. I wasn't dropping in much during the Crazylegs saga so maybe i'm not attuned to sniffing out cheaters. IMO if you want to cheat to win a friendly contest than knock your socks off you've got too much time on your hands. If this was all in a joking manner than I apologize for the rant.
