Turkeygirl
Who all went out for squirrel this morning? Not me I slept in...I know...I'm still catching up from this summer! Will probably aim to take the .22 out this afternoon and try to put some on the ground...and try to avoid checking my trail camera! Sept. goose started today as well. Beautiful week for hunting in my area, that's for sure! Good luck everyone!
Tominator
Don't you have a job or something to look for? Good luck Ruth. I'm personally looking forward to about 3:30 when I'll be at my new property walking out back with the Benelli. I've been seeing a handful of doves as I walk out back to check the garden. Dakota
Congrats on the squirrels! Season started here today as well, though I spent the say at school, then hitting the archery range and having a 5-10 minute starring contest with a spike in velvet at 55 yards (within dangerous shooting range if it was season ) on the range, coming home and mowing the lawn and now I'm packing for my Wyoming antelope hunt! BuckNrut
I went out last Tuesday - squirrels in every tree! Lots of hazle nut & beach nuts this year. Hunted an area about 1-acre and saw over 20 tree rats. Passed on many more than shot at. I was a little rusty, missing the first two of the morning, then got the next 4. 3 large females and 1 small male... Going out tomorrow morning with Justin's grandpa - what a character he is. I'll be sure to take the camera along now that Joe got me pumped up and entered into the contest!
