Jorden
Season starts next weekend, the 12th, for me. Im 21 and I go to school three hours from home so I dont get out a whole lot but I make sure to get home for a weekend or two every month. I will be home for opener next weekend so hopefully I can get us on the board early:) Anyone got any team name ideas???
jcwa
Checking in. Our season starts Oct 3 to Jan 17. This year our county is under special antler restrictions, so the one good buck (13 inches or greater in side spread) i can take this year will need to be a good one. Good luck. wtnhunt
Archery season opens here the 26th of this month. Hope to kill something with the bow early then focus on the youth hunt before heading off to Wisconsin for 5 days at the beginning of November to bowhunt with Randy. Should be a good year, hope everyone has a great season.

hutchies
Atta boy...............I'm good for a doe at least. Only got 5 does last year. This is big boy I was after last year...........Unfortunately I told the wrong person and he decided to hunt close to my stand. Had 4 opportunites to shoot at him. Closest was 42 yards and just didn't feel comfortable

wtnhunt
Who let him in here? :poke: LOL Look like I have some activity. http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90118 Looks like you have one that is a really good wide buck there Chance. Good luck on him. Got a decent bachelor group coming around our mineral station almost daily, but never exactly the same time and not during daylight. Some of these crops around us start coming out, should see an increase in deer activity in our plots.

Come first light I will be perched in a tree waiting for that big 10. Suppose to be almost 80 which really doesnt makke for good hunting but I will be out there nonetheless. Jorden
Well this weekend was pretty uneventful for me. Sat saturday morning and evening and sunday morning and all I say was a little forker. Of course it didnt help that the weather was in the mid 80s but that seems to be typical of opening weekend of wisconsin bow season. I will be back home again next weekend if the weather isnt too hot again.
wtnhunt
Good luck Jordan. Season here opens the Saturday after next. Looks like we are pretty loaded with acorns in our woods and along the river. Buck activity seems to be pretty poor here around our property right now, still tons of food, but corn is starting to come out.
