Now if this would only be allowed in Wisconsin.....

No kidding. Oh, but "they're not a problem" here, according to the DNR... (they can just keep telling themselves that)

There was a guy who wrote an article in our local newspaper recently about how he thinks people should be able to live in the woods/country without having to be afraid to let their children or animals be outside because of the wolves. He said the wolves would come within 100 feet of the house, sometimes even closer, especially when the dogs were outside and there have been a numerous number of reports lately around my area in northern WI of people's animals getting attacked and killed by wolves.

A week or so later, a guy that lives a few miles down the road from me wrote back saying how wolves are such beautiful creatures and that people should be grateful to have the opportunity to see them, blah blah blah. Then he goes, "Maybe we should shoot or poison all the black bears then, because they attack people." Well, bright individual, there's a SEASON to hunt bears, therefore their population is more controlled. We'll see what this guy says when a wolf eats his dogs. :)

I thought you lived in Washington!

You sure have trouble keeping up with me, don't you? You must be wasting taxpayer's money again! LOL!!:D:D:D

You Idahoan :clown:

That's great. How long has it been since the last time you were aloud to shoot wolves there?

I don't have any idea, but the last one were shot off and they got a bounty for them! That was how they got rid of them in the 30's!

Now the wonderful fed's brought them back about 10 years ago!
