danthehuntinman
People wanted to see him out of velvet now that I fially got some pictures worth looking at I'll post them. He looks bigger now than when he was in velvet he would be easier to score now. What does everyone think of him?

Tom2008
Didn't notice it before, but it looks like he squeeked out an 11th and 12th point. Cool

Rem308
Good grief, that's a MONSTER, great looking deer! Healthy!
Bowtech_archer07
That's a great looking deer. You wanted a score... IMO, I think he'll push 150. He's not really massive but he's got a lot of points and good length. He's an awesome looking deer, but I think he would blossom into an absolute giant next year. I couldn't pass on him, and not saying you should, i'm just saying I think he has 1 more year before he reaches his full potential. Great looking buck no matter what!!
Turkeygirl
Nice buck! He's a keeper for sure! I'd have my sights on him!
Randy
Didn't notice it before, but it looks like he squeeked out an 11th and 12th point. Cool I saw that right away. As hard as it may be,..........imagine what that critter could be next year.
danthehuntinman
Yeah he barely got the 11th and 12th point. I have had pictures of him for 4 yrs now so I'm not real sure how old he is now. It was hard to let him go last year the 3 times that I saw him I won't be able to do it this year. The neighboring farm has been seeing him so I hope he doesn't poach it. I have been up there at the farm after dark before and I saw him with a spotlight out in his field so I won't be able to let him go again. Just hope he doesn't get poached now. If you have seen him for 4 years now then I would say he is definately at his peak right now. I wouldn't let him go any longer. He has had plenty of time to spread those great genes around. danthehuntinman
What do you think he would score now that you can tell more about him?
Tom2008
What do you think he would score now that you can tell more about him? I'll have to agree with Bowtech archer. I bet he makes 155 mark or maybe 1 or 2 inches under or above. Great looking buck. Don't let him slip away this year. Good luck
Bowtech_archer07
Wow, that deer fooled me on age. I thought he was only 4 1/2. If he is 5 1/2 he may be at his peak. Like I said, that is a great deer and I couldn't let him walk. Hope you get a crack at him this fall!!
wtnhunt
Very nice buck. Think he will go in the upper 140's.
danthehuntinman
He is a really big buck for West Virginia. I have only saw one other buck that big here.

brownie65
not real good pics to guess a score by but I will go with in the 140's. I guess scores of lots of deer during season. A few of us do this on all the hunters bucks. Seems I am always judging on the small side. Most of the time my guesses are around 10 points less than what the buck actually scores. arrow32
Awesome buck!! Hey if you need anyone to help try and take that monster I'm here I could be there in no time:D;) Best of luck on putting the smack down on him. That is a true West Virginia gaint tho. Can't wait to see some pics with you holding that bone up.
danthehuntinman
Maybe we can see always trying to find someone to hunt with me. Most of my friends are not into bow hunting like I am so hard to tell what will come of season.
