woolybear
You guys and gals got anything you like to wear or bring along to better your odds? I've become attached to my snakeskin skull cap over the past few years. Kinda adds to my signature at the end of a sucessfull hunt for me. Plus- I just love the way it blends with near any surroundings.
wtnhunt
Nothing in particular really. Try to never leave home without my favorite grunt call, not really a lucky charm, but the call has pulled in a few deer for me over the years. Tominator
I have a glove that's probably 15 years old that I wear on my left hand. I wouldn't say it's a "lucky charm," but I've had it for so long, it just fits perfectly and I'm pretty sure Cabelas has discontinued it so I can't replace it. The wrist part is torn and 2 of the fingers are worn through, but I love that glove.
OUTSIDER
Back in 2005 my best friend died in an ATV wreck, at his house he always had shed antlers lying around inside and he had a tiny little spike antler (just like a pencil) that he always messed with, scratched his back with it, throw it at you, stuff like that. Well when he died his dad said i could have it, and it goes fishing and hunting with me always, it has brought me good luck and fond memories on many hunting and fishing trips. fly
Kind of I guess... I have a Christmas music CD that I keep in my truck all year long. The rule is that I can't play it until I harvest my first deer. Pretty neat when the kids get in the truck for the first time and Christmas music is playing. They start smiling and say something like "Buck or doe?".

So do you listen to it everyday after the first kill, or is it optional after the first kill? I will keep using the same arrow until i tag something with it. If i don't tag something with it in the first 3 weeks of the season, it gets bumped and the next arrow in line follows the same order...not really a lucky charm - more like a superstition... hutchies
Forgot to mention that I also keep my Ted Nugent Hunting CD in the player during season.

fly
Thats an interesting one Fly...You must be quite the festive man... So do you listen to it everyday after the first kill, or is it optional after the first kill? Been doing this for about 5 years now. If I get one the first week of October I generally only listen to it while heading to my hunting location or if the younger kids want it on. Oh and I always play it when my 13 year old step-daughter is riding with me because she thinks it's "Soooo Lame" listening to Christmas music in October. I love Christmas music and never really get tired of hearing it. Once Christmas is over the CD goes back into storage until the next seasons first blood. Smack, I hope you don't have to "fire" any arrows this season due to 3 weeks of poor performance.:clown:
redkneck
Chris.......Tell me the glove don't have sequins on it pleeeeze! Dan..... I kinda do the same thing, always pull from the front of my quiver. I'm not much for lucky charms, though I got a fav old "floppy" hat I like to wear, esp in the rain to keep the water off my neck. Rhino
No real lucky charms to speak of. Just take whatever I need for that hunt. I do feel pretty unlucky if I find I forgot the TP when I need it though. :clown:
Ohiobucks
I've got a golf ball in my archery tackle box. It was the one I used to hit a hole-in-one with some 15 years ago.
