Guest HANKFAN
Below are some of my best trail cam pictures from 2004. All of these picutres were taken on public land in one of the four bow hunting only counties here in West Virginia. This the first nice buck that I got in 2004. I hunted him hard all season. Here is the only other picture that I got of him all season. I had him during the pre-rut chasing 2 does at 38 yards from my stand however a small pine tree was blocking his vitals. I guessed the 12 pointer would score in the mid 150"s. That one hurt!!!!! Here is a picture of a nice 10 pointer that seemed to be everywhere during the rut. I got his picture many many times on my 4 trail cams. I actually got his picture on 2 of my trail cams that were over 2 miles apart on the same night. I never saw him during the season. This next picture really hurts. I had 2 stands on each end of a ridge that the deer were using to cross a steep ditch, 100 yards apart. One of them was over looking this primary scrape and the other stand was just down the ridge on the creek crossing. I bet you can't guess which one I was in when this buck worked this scrape?? Here is another 10 pointer that I saw several times during the season. I finally got a picture of the culprit that thought it was funny to eat 2 of my trails cams. I finally put out some bait so that I could finally get a good picture of the bear because normally all that I would get would be a blury image right before my camera was destroyed!!! Last is a picture of a nice 10 pointer with 2 sticker points coming off of his brow tines checking a scrape. I harvested him serveral days after this photo was taken. Here he is after I got him back from being mounted. He grossed 130" P&Y.
Hillbilly
Re: A REVIEW OF MY BEST TRAIL CAM PICTURES FOR 200 I'd be going after Yogi the Bear this year. Those are some dandy bucks. That 12pt would have scored in the 140 PY, Hope you see him next year laying on the ground with your arrow sticking out of his boiler room.
