Casey
Had a lot of fun today with some close friends. We got out on the water through a outfitter in our town. Went down the mighty White River here in the small town of Shoals, Indiana. I was in a canoe with a girl with no experience at all. I did most of the rowing and navagation. Had to tell her many times to row on one side and switch. We hit the bank a few times. When she got into the system of rowing, she started to tucker out. This is when we had 9 more miles. She tuckered out after 4miles. My arms are so tired and sore, will feel it tomorrow. But had a really fun time with my older brother and our close friends. The great thing about the whole day is that we probably set the record. The guide, (which is a cousin of mine) said we probably was the only group that got it done within 3 hrs and 10 minutes. HoooooRAH!!!!! No wonder why my arms are hurting right now. We did make it into a race. Good exercise for the upper body. arrow32
That sounds like a blast. Makes me wish I'd made the time to go white water rafting again this year. Now I love doing that.

LOL...and who can forget this "Classic": http://www.maniacworld.com/squirrel-vs-penguin.htm ...and something you may not know: Billy Redden is the actor best known for his role as Lonnie—the "creepy banjo kid"—in the 1972 movie Deliverance. Redden, then sixteen, earned his role in Deliverance during a casting call at Clayton Elementary School in Clayton, Georgia.
Texan_Til_I_Die
Redden, then sixteen, earned his role in Deliverance during a casting call at Clayton Elementary School in Clayton, Georgia. Ummm, should 16 and elementary school be in the same sentence? :jaw:
GWSmith
LOL...I kinda stopped at the part where it said: Lonnie—the "creepy banjo kid"—
