terry264
Winchester has a new warning on their site not to shoot their .17 HMR Supreme or Super-X ammo in any semi-auto. Just came out on 8/21/09. http://winchester.com/news/newsview.aspx?storyid=
Ethan Givan
Heard about that. Wonder why you cant shoot it in semi-autos only?
Adjam5
It might be loaded a little hotter, and a bolt gun can handle hotter loads with no moving bolt to contend with. Thanks for the heads up!
terry264
Wow, I guess Rem. and CCI are in on this too. Rem. is even buying back their 597's issuing "coupons" for another rem. product. Didn't see anything on the Hornady site about this though. http://www.cci-ammunition.com/safety/safety_notice.aspx http://www.remington.com/safety/17_HMR_Ammo_notice/default.asp
