Adjam5
That is what the orthopedist drew with a syringe from my bloated knee a little while ago. 60cc's! Yikes! He said that much blood is consistent with a ligament tear. Most likely my ACL, so you know what that means right??? :crutch::crutch::crutch::crutch::crutch::crutch: For about 6 months if that is the case. That knocks me out of bow season, but I could make it to some of my ground blinds for gun season. So it is not a total wash. I am waiting for the MRI approval and then I will know more about my knee injury. When it rains it pours... ruttinbuc
Wow, that is not good at all, Anthony. ,you will be fixed and healed in time to salvage some of your season.
lil hunter
torn ligaments don't necessarily mean surgery, or being on crutches forever. It really varies a lot from person to person. A buddy of mine managed to play an entire football season with a completely torn ACL, then got his surgery after winning a state championship... You may have some hope. During high school, there were several players on my team who would tear an ACL, MCL, or miniscus during season and be back playing only a few weeks later. Of course, a couple had to sit the rest of the season too.

Tominator
Dang Anthony, hate to hear that bud. I've had a lot of students have ACL surgery, and they were up and around pretty quick actually. In most cases, I take what the doctors tell me and cut it in half. Hang in there bud--I want to see you behind Mr. Wide8, not Joe.

DocMort
ACL, MCL, LCL none of them mean your out of the game just play it day to day. I have been with soldiers who have, myself included deployed and carried a full combat load with a Ligament Tear. Good luck with it and prayers to a quick healing and some good deer hunting.
