Colorado Hard Horned Buck

I took a little bowhunt last week in Colorado and got this nice hard horned buck. He had just shed out and so had one of his buddies. It's very dry there and waterholes are the best place to hunt right now. They hate coming in to water so I sit the trails going to and from water because they aren't as cautious. Here's what a 100 grain Montec will do. The photo is where he stood and the blood sprayed when he was hit. He was uphill from me and went 30 yards before he tipped over. The arrow hit his last rib and stuck out through his off shoulder. Not bad for a 355 grain arrow from an older 58 pound bow (not even paralell limb! Mathews Classic). It was dry and hot and I felt blessed to do this well. God's gifts are good!MarkP.S. If you notice I'm not the poster child for Realtree Camo. Knowing how to hide and move are more important than any camo.
