bluelund79
I picked up a nib Springfield XD about 3 years ago for $325 in 40 cal. Didn't have the holster or mag holster, but everything else came with it. In that time, I have fired enough ammo to buy 2 more of those guns, without any mishaps. That was with all types of ammo, but I also keep that gun clean. I am more fimiliar with the Beretta (Army Aviation), but after first hand seeing its stopping power while in the desert, say what you want, bigger is better. Yes, you have to worry about the other side of the wall, but that comes with common sense, know your target and beyond. You'll find what you are looking for once you pick up a firearm that fits your hand, however, don't skimp on the ammo when it comes down to that, better ammo is piece of mind. Good shopping, Eric
Buckeye54
A friend of mine just bought a S&W Sigma .40 cal. I had heard some not really good things about these pistols, but I must say it was pretty nice to shoot, had no problems, and was pretty accurate. The trigger pull is pretty heavy though. He paid $309 for it and got a $50 rebate throught the mail. Not a bad price for the gun he got.
