hutchies
Mom needs them. For the past few months I've been pulling 2 jobs because mom can't come to work. She's in constant pain and she has been to 4 doctors, a chiropracter, and the hospital several times so far. None of them can give her an answer to what is wrong with her. She can't sleep because she sits up all night crying in pain she hurts so bad. Her muscles, bones, and joints ache. She has constant swelling in her arms and legs. When she does try to come to work I send her home because everytime she comes up here she sits and cries in pain. She can't keep down food because of all the pain meds they have her on. She's dropping weight and feels horrible all the time. They ran blood tests 3 or 4 times, MRI, Lime disease test, lupus test, and Lord knows how many other panels. She just called and said they now want to test her liver and test her for MD or MS.

DocMort
Good luck with that. Have you tried to a specialty hospital, or an extremely large one that has alot more access to test and knowledge?

ShortDraw
Hutchies, i'm not a religious man, but I do wish all of the best for you and your mother. Found out recently the my mother has two types of cancer. It's difficult to go through situation's such as these. Keep your head up and keep moving forward. never lose hope I was going to say the same thing; my wife had similar symptons and eventually they discovered it was FibroMyalgia; they put her on the right meds and she's much better. Girlfriend has that as well, not to steal the thread, but is there anything that will completely relieve the pain for her? She has her meds now, but her back is still giving her terrible fits. I want to do something for her bad

She has her meds now, but her back is still giving her terrible fits. I want to do something for her bad They put her on Lyrica; which has helped a lot. It hasn't completely relieved the pain but it's made it tolerable for her. I would recommend seeing several doctors; if one doesn't seem too willing to help or look into it keep going to others. It took her a few years and several rheumatologists until they finally diagonsed it. Good Luck
wtnhunt
Fibromyalgia unless I am mistaken was really not even known to be a disease until fairly recently, but sure sounds like it might be possible with those symptoms. My mother supposedly has fibromyalgia, really not sure other than going on symptoms how they diagnose it. Hope she gets some answers soon hutchies, prayers on the way.
