Jorden
Went out to check my trail cam after hunting today. Was upwards of 80 degrees today so deer movement was minimal. I was surprised to find however that 77 of the 80 pics that were on the cam from the past week were taken between 6am and 8pm. Here are a few of the highlights 8-point 9-point And the Big

Stone Cold
That big boy is really nice! Looks like he has 7 on left 5 on right. There is the small point at end of main beam and a kicker of eye guard!

Jorden
You guys open season up on Oct 1st right? No we opened up saturday actually...I sat in the stand near this cam twice but never did see him
woolybear
If the time is correct on your cam I'd move in a little closer to his bedding area or any staging area that may be around on an evening hunt and sit till dark. You're not missing him by much and I bet you could intercept him on his way to the pile. This would be the time to do it before his patterns change. You're not missing him by much and I bet you could intercept him on his way to the pile. This would be the time to do it before his patterns change. I agree but the only problem is that I really am not sure where his bedding area is. Unfortunately on our land we do not have any thick cover so we do not have any deer bedding on our land. I have ideas of where he is coming from but it could be three different areas, one of which I already have a stand near. The second problem is that I dont get to hunt much since I am 3 hours away at school so I wont be back home again for a few weeks. I am surprised that he has not changed his pattern yet. He must not be very smart:D. In the past almost all our buck pictures at this time of the year have been late at night but this year it has been the complete opposite as we have been getting a lot of daytime pics. They must be late changing into their fall patterns for some reason this year.
woolybear
Can you mark up an aerial photo or topo. Bedding areas aren't all necessarily thick when it comes to monsters like that. Any variation in elevation changes, prevailing winds, and vantage points could put you on the right track. Having limited time doesn't help matters, but I would try to take advantage of what's available at your fingertips while you are not out there hunting him. With a little luck you'll catch up with him or not so bad a case scenario, he'll survive the season and you'll have the entire offseason to figure him out that much more impressive. sluggunner
All trophys in my eyes. But, that 11 point really makes me go deer crazy.
Stone Cold
At least you see bucks in your trail cam. So far I have not had one! All does and fawns with a crap load of coons. There is standing corn about 30 yards from my camera so I am just hoping that they are in there.
backwoods07
Gosh I love looking at pics from Cudde's. Especially when deer of this caliber are in there.
