jcwa
great looking pup sooner girl. congrats Sorry.....bad choice of pup especially with a baby on the way. Just too unpredictable. I think your wrong there. I had a pit bull when i was a kid and I have a pit bull now. Both of them were/are great dogs. My pit bull "Max" loves to play and is great with the kid around the neighbor hood. The only way he could hurt you would be knocking you down tring to lick you. MichiganHunter
Cute puppy....but in fairness most all of them are cute woolybear= Dogs act how they are raised, I have seen goldern retrivers that are crappy dogs because they were not raised right. That dog will be a great family dog. Dont listen to him Sooner Girl
RangerClay
Sorry.....bad choice of pup especially with a baby on the way. Just too unpredictable. I have two agree with Matt on this one. Whatever you do, don't let your insurance agency see it. Your homeowners insurance will go through the roof. Pits, rotties, german shepards, dobermans are all concidered high risk dogs. Edited September 15, 2009 by RangerClay
woolybear
I've owned pits, rotts and bulls. Had kids too. I can say from experience your "good pit" will show no warning before any attack.:bat: Dogs will be dogs and have their own personalities but if I were a betting man I'd still put my money on bad choice. As far as how you raise them goes. Pits tend to forget how good they have it when natural instinct takes over. You can't train them out of that even when you think you have. I have had 2 different insurance co. cancell me because my 2 rotts.I got a great insurance man and he found me better insurance that lets him decide if the dog is high risk.He has more high risk chows and dalmations than anything. My rotts are big lap dogs. They even bring a toy to a perfect stranger in the house.Great gaurd dogs outside, makes people thing twice about stealing from me.My buddy had a pitbull that was the best behaved dog I have ever seen.Good looking pup you got there! Ghilliesuit22
My sister used to work for a vet and while there she adopted a rescue pit from Detroit. It was going to be a fighting dog. Anyways I was a little nervous with the background of the pup and the breed. His name is Broady and he has a great sense of humor and will love on anyone that comes to the door. He is very well behaved and just a great family dog. His jaw and teeth do look fierce and they were breed for chomping but any dog can tear flesh. Cool color by the way I like it.
