Randyman
.......What do you all think of Kimbo Slice being on this season's Ultimate Fighter? I am interested to see how he will do with some serious MMA training and if he can develop a serious ground game. I for one am not going to bet against him, given his obvious physical attributes, but I am interested to see what he can do against opponents that he cannot physically dominate. Should be entertaining at the very least! :hammer1:
IowaDeerHunter
I think it will be interesting. Does he have any MMA training?
Randyman
I think it will be interesting. Does he have any MMA training? The biggest part of his background is so called "street fights" that were popular on youtube. Then he fought in the XFC for a bit, so he does have some MMA experience. Gator
Between him and the Ex-NFLers, I can't wait for this season to kick off
IowaDeerHunter
Ya I have seen his street fights, was not sure if he had any actual training in MMA...almost to get him prepared for the Ultimate Fighter. I can't wait to watch. It would be the ultimate thing if he won and took on Brock Lesnar and beat him.
MUDRUNNER
Kimbo has trained MMA with Bas Rutten, but they parted ways a little while back. I can't wait for the new season to start!I've been watching religiously since season one. It will be interesting too see what Kimbo can do with some real competition. Truefully, I don't see him winning the show IF they have brought some other talented fighters to the house. I'm hoping they didn't just bring some posers in to make Kimbo look good by beating them all down.
Randyman
Kimbo has trained MMA with Bas Rutten, Was not aware of that. Bas is the man. Maybe Kimbo will be a little more competitive than i thought. Time will tell.

Heavy Metal
I think the whole sport has no honor and no sportsmanship. It disgusts me every time I try to watch it. Might as well fight pit pulls against each other...oh right, that's illegal.:poke:

And that guy acted like he was lost in there. Gonna be an interesting season for sure Ya, he just got taken down the same way four times in a row.....he could not do a thing. I can't believe they didn't stop that fight with such a cut on his head. Maybe it didn't really open up until the end I guess.
Gator
I think he was cut as soon as he took that hit, did you not see all the blood?
IowaDeerHunter
Ya, I seen it. I just figured if the ref seen the cut was THAT bad I figured he would have stopped it. I thought if they had a bad enough cut on the head they stopped the fight. I just can't wait to see Kimbo fight. Not sure whether he will be his butt whooped or actually be something.... Stone Cold
Now that was a cut! I could not believe how big it was then he said I can see your skull! Wow! I am not against Kimbo either but it will be interesting to see what he can do! Brock better watch it if some of the NFL guys get on their feet! That would be some fights! QDMAworks4me
I give Kimbo a shot at making it to the finals. I think that after watching the first show he seems to be down to earth and honestly looks like he is there to learn and doesnt figure he knows everything already. I know that Dana White would love to see Kimbo get beat his first fight but we will see shortly. I see a few of you have talked about him fighting Brock, Kimbo has a long time before Dana White would ever set that fight up IMO. I think Brock would take him down anyways unless Kimbo develops a ground game. Should be a good season.
MUDRUNNER
That cut was nasty! John Madsen trains over at Matt Hughes' gym, so his ground and pound is solid. The stand up stunk in that fight though. I don't think I saw one kick or punch thrown. I doubt Kimbo will fight till a later episode. He's probably a good draw for the show, and I doubt Dana wants to take a chance of him losing in the first few episodes and losing some viewers. SchuLace
I think Dana is going to keep Kimbo in as long as possible. People will watch because of him. I actually watched Madsen fight at a local fight here about a year ago. His older brother was one of my wrestling coaches and Jon wrestled at SDSU so I gotta root for the local boy.
