Tom2008
Introduced Kels to archery over a year ago. Then she bought a trail camera and we did a lot of shed hunting together. That summer she decided to hunt with me and the second weekend of season she shot an awesome doe. Lets just say she is hooked now for life and we run a taxidermy business together. We also picked up archery turkey hunting last spring. I love having her with me and I wouldn't change a thing. I still get to hunt with buddies, but I make sure there is plenty of time for her and I to go. Its very rewarding seeing her succeed. She can out shoot most of my buddies too. Stinger-Hunter
My wife wouldn't even move to the suburbs, let alone sit in a tree. I could see it now - filing her nails, fidgeting. Forget it. She goes scuba diving and I hunt. Fortunately there are more trees here than ocean. Sucks for her.
dawgitall
Mine does not hunt. She does love to go in the boat though.
outdoorsman91
My girlfriend loves to hunt just as much as I do. Heck she even has a bigger buck than me ha ha. But its ok because I am coming out ahead since she like to hunt.
mikewink
After several years of me hitting the woods by myself or with my hunting buddy. All of sudden, two weeks ago my better half tells me that she is looking into taking the hunters safety course. My jaw almost hit the floor! I'm super stoked. Now I can go hunting with both of my best friends!!! By the way my wife loves venison. I think she eats it on her cereal in the mornings. Seriously!!! MNcrittergittr
My fiance has always been an up for anything type of girl, but before she met me she didn't hunt, didn't really have the opportunity to experience it and she enjoyed but didn't fish a lot. Well...6 years later I'm happy to say she really enjoys the outdoors and for the right reasons! I barely go fishing without her (which is about every day in the spring and summer). And we are currently cutting arrows down to fit her draw length. She comes out with me a lot, bowhunting, and chasing waterfowl, grouse and just about anything else. If you want a relationship to work, its important to find things you can enjoy together. Some people may have a different view and once upon a time I may have had one too, but I really lucked out and couldn't be happier. I never "hear about it" or have to worry about hunting or fishing my brains out. Which is nice ...I love hunting so much, it's great to have someone that understands. Me, her, my dad and brother, along with my dog couldn't be better hunting buddies! Edited September 25, 2009 by MNcrittergittr
