camoman1
The neighbors of the property I have permission to hunt are getting out of hand!!! Last year, he let a kid hunt his property (all 4 acres) during a youth gun hunt, and the guys shot a deer on my buddies property. Then he saw them riding 4 wheelers on his land a few months ago. And last nite my father was out bowhunting and heard a 4 wheeler that seemed a bit close to be on the neighbors property....well he was right, they drove through our clover plot and tore up a few spots!!! The owner has had several talks with this idiot and apparently its always somebody else that he allows to stay there that is doing all this.....either way, it needs to stop and I think the sherriff will be getting involved this time!!! The owner of the property sold this guy the land he is building his house on, he has a great view out his windows....until we build a big ugly fence or pile old farm machines on the property line for him to look at instead... Sorry for the rant, Im just PO'd And I guess this probably should have been in the Lounge instead...sorry Edited September 20, 2009 by camoman1

fly
Sounds pretty frustrating. I suppose you're buddy has signs up? If your buddies neighbor doesn't seem to take charge of the situation getting law enforcement involved might wake him up a bit.
Turkeygirl
I think everyone has a bad neighbor....we do...luckily they don't do archery but when shotgun season rolls around...welll hey gets all his buddies...they do deer drives all day, all week the first week...surroudn the fields...shoot at the deer running full out...they even hunt onto the farmland that he shouldn't be on...it's rediculous...but no one can say anything because it is one of those people you fear repercussions from...especially us living near him... So I feel for ya,lol! Good luck...hope things work out for the better!
ToddCountyKiller
I have seen this time and time again. I have seen where the Game warden was used better than the town idiot aka "sherriff". Them there wardens come up with some pretty crazy anticts, but it sure scares the heck outta people! PotashRLS
Sorry to hear of the neighbor issues but this time of year brings out the worst in people it seems. Hope it gets better. It shouldn't be too bad fencing off your side of the 4 acres.
