Prairiepredator
Hey. Our ATV is a Suzuki 400 Kingquad with manual transmission. It is 4 wheel drive, well priced, is very simple to operate. If you want more power, definitely go with a manual transimission. Suzuki makes the Kinquad in different cc's and diffrent styles for your preference. I love the quad, and it is way better priced than alot of quads out there. OJR
I had a Honda for 18 years and it was great! I sold it and the guy who bought it is still using it and loves it!

coles
It all just depends on what you are willing to spend. You can get a junker used one for a couple hundred bucks on up to the newest 800-1000cc bikes that run over $10,000. But whatever you do. If and when you find something you like, ride it first. Get it checked over by a mechanic before you buy if it is used. I have a 2007 Yamaha Grizzly 660. 26" ITP Mudlite XL tires and 14" ITP wheels along with an HMF utility exhaust. Im on the blue one, and my buddy is on the silver one which is an 09 Arctic Cat 700 FI Special Edition.
Jeramie
Im riding a 2005 Yamaha Bruin (350). My dad has both a Polaris 500 and a Honda Rancher (350). All are good bikes. For the most part I think any mainstream ATV will work for what you want. As far as quality I think Honda is really hard to beat.
unioncountyslayer
HONDA! I have a Honda Rancher AT 400. The new ones have upgraded to a 420cc. The thing I like best about the Honda's and this particular model is that they are fully hydro-driven (no belts) and you can switch between manual shift and automatic. Ohiobucks
POLARIS! I've had this Polaris Sportsman 500 X2 for about 1 year, it has done everything I've asked it to do. Plow snow, move dirt, fill the deer feeder, help with tree stands, fun with the kids, pull down dead trees from the back fence row, etc. The dump bed is very handy. I like it alot. wtnhunt
Guess it boils down to personal preferences and what it is exactly that you are looking for. Kind of like honda bikes here, but nothing wrong with the others. Would not be afraid to buy any of the big name manufacturers. Ours is nothing special, just a honda foreman 450. Does everything I have needed it to.
ODH
you guys might laugh but even my '07 Yamaha YFZ 450 does a decent job hauling stands around and helping out with hunting stuff etc. its torquey but also 2wd. but i havent gotten stuck in the creek bottoms yet lol. i might get rid of her here soon and maybe get a nice 4wd like you guys have. Nice looking quads btw
