Hey. Our ATV is a Suzuki 400 Kingquad with manual transmission. It is 4 wheel drive, well priced, is very simple to operate. If you want more power, definitely go with a manual transimission. Suzuki makes the Kinquad in different cc's and diffrent styles for your preference. I love the quad, and it is way better priced than alot of quads out there.

It all just depends on what you are willing to spend. You can get a junker used one for a couple hundred bucks on up to the newest 800-1000cc bikes that run over $10,000. But whatever you do. If and when you find something you like, ride it first. Get it checked over by a mechanic before you buy if it is used. I have a 2007 Yamaha Grizzly 660. 26" ITP Mudlite XL tires and 14" ITP wheels along with an HMF utility exhaust.

HONDA! I have a Honda Rancher AT 400. The new ones have upgraded to a 420cc. The thing I like best about the Honda's and this particular model is that they are fully hydro-driven (no belts) and you can switch between manual shift and automatic.

Guess it boils down to personal preferences and what it is exactly that you are looking for. Kind of like honda bikes here, but nothing wrong with the others. Would not be afraid to buy any of the big name manufacturers.

Ours is nothing special, just a honda foreman 450. Does everything I have needed it to.

you guys might laugh but even my '07 Yamaha YFZ 450 does a decent job hauling stands around and helping out with hunting stuff etc. its torquey but also 2wd. but i havent gotten stuck in the creek bottoms yet lol.

i might get rid of her here soon and maybe get a nice 4wd like you guys have. Nice looking quads btw
