wtnhunt
Good question. Really not sure if any of the big name ml manufacturers make youth models. I do not recall ever seeing any other than the remington model 700 youth model ml. Don't think they made those for very long.
jesse8953
CVA makes a smaller frame ml.It is the wolf.I think that would fit a kid pretty well.
Grady269
See if you can find a Knight Wolverine used somewhere. They make excellent your guns. 75-80 gr of Pyrodex
hunterbobb
Rossi makes a youth model muzzeloader. You can also get it as a combo where it comes with a shotgun and a 22lr barrel.
mike
My buddy bought a cva optima magnum for his daughter and then got online and ordered a replacement butt for it, then we cut it down an inch and a half or two( whatever fit) and then kept the original to put back on when she out grew it. worked awesome! had to do some rigging to epoxy the butt end piece back on but we did it. She has used it three years now. The optima has considerably less kick than the wolf or beartooth magnum does. thats why he chose that gun. I think he uses 80 gr of 777 pellets and powerbelt 245gr bullets. she can reach out there 75 yds easy enough. never had to shoot further
