woolybear
lil fella looks a wee bit hungry and cranky to me.:baby: Probably time for a nice warm bottle, a 'charming lullabye' and some snugglin' before he takes a nap. Cool pics!

Turkeygirl
Wow...cool...and scary! lol A friend, the cook from camp...hates snakes...hates them. If I showed her these pics...or any snake for that matter...this is what would happen to me: :poke::death::chair::stretcher: LOL;)
wtnhunt
Find this little guy around Memphis? Not too many timber rattlers around here, but have seen a few over the years. Guess they may call that a canebrake down your way? Saw quite a few cottonmouths and one copperhead here the weekend before last.
HUNTINGMAN
Looks like a good reason to do some target practice with the old shotgun to me.

Its a baby copperhead, haven't found any rattlers at the park here yet, alot of them in Shelby Forest though
TCFORLIFE
Looks like a good reason to do some target practice with the old shotgun to me. I'll second that, would look better if it wasn't living. The only good snake is a dead snake. Can't stand them.

redkneck
I've always like the colors on the copperheads. But... they do account for the vast majority of bites down here, they like to bite first and ask questions later. Nice pic!
wtnhunt
Its a baby copperhead, haven't found any rattlers at the park here yet, alot of them in Shelby Forest though Yep, kind of threw me a little I guess. Thought at first it was a copperhead, then the markings kind of resembled those of the timber rattler although the colors did not look quite right. Usually even the little copperheads around here the pattern is more triangular. They sure do blend in/hide well here.

I've seen way more timber rattlers. Cool lookin snake but glad its close to your camera and not mine! I don't hate them unless they're too close..
