waterfowler_gal
Anyone go to there nationals and where? This was my first year this summer at Brainerd, Minnesota. I had so much fun in the pits and camping out all weekend. A great life experience...lol
Randyman
Re: ANY NHRA FANS? Big NHRA fan here! I've been going to the drag races for about 30 years now. Besides hunting, it is one of the few things my Dad and i did together. I go to the Sears Craftsman Nationals at Gateway every year. You haven't lived until you have experienced 13,000 horsepower thundering down the quarter mile, side by side! I have seen just about every major motorsport there is, and nothing compares to how close you can get to the action in the pits at an NHRA event. You pretty much get free access, unlike at the Nascar events i've been to. Any fan of motorsports owes it to themselves to see an NHRA event. You won't regret it! waterfowler_gal
Re: ANY NHRA FANS? Yeah I got to ride around with Brandon Bernstein's and his crew on their Budweiser golf kart... They are so awesome! Anytime I am at the bar with my girlfriend Amy (she loves Bud light and Larry Dixon) we line up my Budweiser bottle to her Bug Light bottle and go "booomp" drag race the beer bottles down the table.... Steven
Re: ANY NHRA FANS? Drag racing is the REAL form of auto racing as far as I'm concerned. I go to the Southern Nationals every year. My dad has been taking me since I was 4. My nephew has been going since he was 18 months. Kenny Bernstein is my Earnhardt and John Force is my Rusty Wallace/ Jeff Gordon (the guy you love to hate). Real racers drive straight to the finish line, those other guys drive around looking for it!
HeviShot
Re: ANY NHRA FANS? Can anyone say 6000 HORSEPOWER!!!!!!
