Tominator
Good stuff Mike. Not familiar with the first one. Bindweed is pretty, but a nuisance to us gardeners. Fall aster is a beautiful little flower. I have a fair amount of that on my property. We get it in purple too.

ruttinbuc
Thank you everyone! Found the Purple Aster here also, Chris. The first picture above is that of a Black Eyed Susan. Pretty common flower here.
Tominator
The first picture above is that of a Black Eyed Susan. Pretty common flower here. Leaf pattern right behind the flower did not look like Rudbeckia, but looking at it, I guess you're right.
redkneck
Nice pics Mike. Chris your getting too scientific on those names! I aint EVEN going to tell you we called those when I was growing up. But... One thing I do remember from ag class. A weed is defined as any plant growing where it is not wanted, So... unless you don't want them there Mike, they aren't weeds.
woolybear
Always been taught a weed is a plant man hasn't found a use for yet. Nice pics Mike.
