Any tips on calling in Cats?

Saw a pretty good sized bobcat out the window early this morning while I was standing at the comode. Tried to get a rifle out and get a shot out the sliding door, but was too late by the time I got a round in the chamber and in position for a shot, it was into the edge of the woods.

I saw a cat Friday afternoon out in the field as I was walking out, but I had just gotten where I could se over the top of the hill and it took off, before I evergot a good look at it. Had not seen any cats aroud here since the 2003-04 deer season. Our season for them ends the 28thof this month, was just wondering if maybe I should not use any howls when trying to call coyotes and maybe just use a rabbit distress to try to call for both the cats and the coyotes?

Also how long should calling sequences using a rabbit distress last and how long should you wait between sequences?

Re: Any tips on calling in Cats?

I normally use rabit distress calls fairly successfully. However, my last cat, (two weeks ago), I howled in with a mouth call. I couldn't believe it. I was yipping, barking and howling and in walks a bobcat looking for what, I don't know.
