I enjoyed your updates and even though you didn't bag a monster, I'm sure it was a wonderful trip. Have a safe trip back!
Adjam5
Hey Tim, you had a great time with your wife and daughter. Too bad no shooters got in your range and what luck to have a landowner who hasn't been around for 10 years start doing stuff on the days you were hunting so close by:bummed:. Get home safe and thanks for sharing this hunt with us all.
Tim Andrus
Well, what can I say ....1st a big thanks to my trusty posters who made this thread happen... 2nd A big thanks to all of you for your well wishes on the hunt. And lastly It was a great hunt without a kill, but I had quality time with my girls ( they had a ball) . That ground that I hunted is awesome ,Bob keeps part of it bow only and thats why the bucks grow the way they do I saw so many 100-120 inch bucks under 30 yds (unbelievable) and then to see a 140 class buck every day within 100yrds . Thats half the battle right there. One other thing I came across a mt lions kill yesterday 100yds from stand pretty cool ,but little nervous as well (fresh fawn kill) So sorry to let you down on not putting one on the ground, but thats hunting. It seems like on my hunts that it happens the 1stday or two or doesent hapeen weird! . The only hunt was my kansas bow hunt 2 years ago when it happened on last morning. So thanks again just got home at 130am ( flight delayed ) go figure
