MCH
The Dodgers got going early, with singles from leadoff hitter Furcal, Andre Ethier(notes) and Manny Ramirez(notes) off J.D. Martin(notes) producing a 1-0 lead in the first. Pitching coach Steve McCatty visited the mound, and it did no good: Matt Kemp(notes) hit Martin’s next pitch over the wall in left-center for a three-run homer, giving him 100 RBIs on the year. Comical moment: When Martin then struck out James Loney(notes) for the first out of the game, the fans broke out in mock applause. The people running the public address system, oblivious to Martin’s rough start, cranked out “Can’t Touch This.” Keep in mind that they were playing AT Washington and they were on track to break a record as being the only team to lose 100 games 3 years running.:D
buckbuster11
You need to tell your boys to freaking lay off. I need the Pirates to make up 4 games in the loss column to the Nats so they can get the #1 pick and Bryce Harper next year.

muggs
John, yeah, really...have the Pirates draft Harper so they can trade him before his 20th bday...that would really be great for the franchise.:paint:
