Leo
Re: Hello from Scotland Welcome Richy I have heard good things about the Blair Atholl estate. Do you know anything about it? I have heard it is quite expensive.

LifeNRA
Re: Hello from Scotland Welcome to the forums Richard! I would love to see some of your pics! Also, you can enlighten some of us about your laws, and the problems with the anti's over there! As you can see, I am a life member of the NRA! Good to have you aboard! Leo
Re: Hello from Scotland Wow! $85usd a bird. I remember hearing guys moan about $8 per quail at some of the ranches here. Puts that one in perspective. I also hear the Blair Athol has a huge population of red deer. Pictures I have seen of it look very rugged. DSGB
Re: Hello from Scotland Welcome aboard Rich! I'm sure you will enjoy this place as much as we will enjoy hearing some of your hunting stories. Your fox problem sounds about like our coyote problem. In most states, you may kill as many of them as you like. Looking forward to hearing from you.
WaCoyote
Re: Hello from Scotland Those antis who whine about hunting aggrivate me to no end! If they are vegetarians at least I can respect them for not being hypocrites. But the ones who chastise you for hunting, then run off to mcdonalds for there happy meals make me insane. My friends wife is like that, and shes just rediculous. My daughter got one of those hunting video games for christmas. At our christmas brunch party all of the men were watching her play this game and the one woman above acted like she was getting sick. Meanwhile the big pig is chewing away on scrambled eggs, sausage, and bacon. Give me a break!
OJR
Re: Hello from Scotland All hunters and people who shoot should pay very close attention to what is being posted here about guns. Everyone must remember that the population here in the US is getting more urban and as it changes so does the attitude towards guns! BE AWARE!!! LifeNRA
Re: Hello from Scotland [ QUOTE ] I also am on the side of the animal rights compaingers when it comes to battery hen farms, Turkey farms and such like. We should stop these places as they are horrible places for an animal to live. The fact that they are caged up and fed vitimans to make them grow faster then pumped with water I find terrible and rather upsetting! [/ QUOTE ] You on the same side as the animal rights activist's??? You feel chicken and turkey farms should be out-lawed? Well Rich I must disagree. Not everybody in this world can just go out and shoot the game they need to feed their families. These chicken and turkey farms feed millions of people! As far as supporting ANY KIND OF ANIMAL RIGHTS ORGANIZATION IN MY MIND IS WRONG! BTW, are you eating those pigeons your shooting?
LifeNRA
Re: Hello from Scotland Well, even to agree with them, will give them hope one that they will win their agenda! Sorry Rich but yes there are those whose farms are not up to par. But I feel strongly about NOT supporting or even agreeing with any animal rights group. Ever hear, "give them an inch, they will take a yard"? You can not help or agree with these people because they will snuff your chance at hunting any way they can!
