m gardner Posted September 28, 2009 Report Share Posted September 28, 2009 Any of the leafy stuff I've seen just doesn't look natural and lots of animals pick it up if the wind is blowing because the real leaves hang and flutter differently. Study the way leaves actually hang and flutter in the wind and you'll see what I mean. I had the opportunity to watch animals come to a waterhole where someone had put up some of that stuff on a ladder tree stand. Almost all of them stopped and stared at it for a long time before coming to water. Some never came in. Just went to another watersource. I didn't have problems with deer pickin me off, but it did seem to get in the way sometimes, especially with the facemask. I never had any experience with the Cabela's stuff though.
